generation kill
the book that i am starting to read is called Generation Kill it is a story about the invasion of iraq from the point of view from the soldiers.it can be serious and funny at times. the symbol that i can find in the book is their rifle. that gun doesnt just represent an object to kill but it represents everyone in america. it represents the hopes and dreams of american soldiers that wish to come back to iraq alive.

Although this book seems interesting, I don't see why the rifle represents that the soldiers want to come back home.
However, reading something from a soldier's point of view would be great. =]

Funny? Death is not funny. Haha just kidding. anyway, the rifle can be a symbol of soldiers in America. I think that this book sounds very serious and funny at the same time. Nice blog.
