generation kill

the book that i am starting to read is called Generation Kill it is a story about the invasion of iraq from the point of view from the soldiers.it can be serious and funny at times. the symbol that i can find in the book is their rifle. that gun doesnt just represent an object to kill but it represents everyone in america. it represents the hopes and dreams of american soldiers that wish to come back to iraq alive.

im just about done with the book. it was a good book. anyone that would be interested in i would let them borrow it. it was a good thing that it wasnt very long because if it was then i would feel like that author is juz trying to stretch the story out. the girl ends up dying at the end. oh well she was cool while she lasted. it was sad though, when she died because her life was all about drugs and she couldnt go a day without them. i saw how she wanted to stop but she just couldnt thats why i dont want to try drugs becasue then i'll be hooked on them and my life could end up like hers. and i dont want dat =[

The main character is very interesting. She starts to experiment with drugs and she starts going downhill. She used to be called weird but in my opinion she has no life anymore. All she does is smoke pot and look for a job. She tries so many drugs n the consequences are severe. I dont know why people would do drugs, it gives you a feeling of no worriness for a short amount of time and afterwards you feel worse.Well thats what i hear, I wouldnt know for myself. The book is very interesting at this point but it makes me wonder and feel sorry for all the people out in the world that live this. On the other hand I dont feel as bad because I would want to give money but they would probably spend it on drugs instead of their health.

The book that I chose to read was Go Ask Alice. I saw Edith reading this book and she told me to read a paragraph and it sounded very interesting. Edith told me it was a great book and that knowing, she knew that i would like it.The book is by an anonymous author. The book is 214 pages long it will take about two weeks to finish this book.
